On old business staff updated the board on 145 Groseneck Road, reporting that a mortgage company and the owner had not paid the required amount by Aug. 1; staff recommended adding the property to the list of tax-acquired properties to offer for sale, and the board moved to put it on the sale list after discussing prior outreach efforts to assist the rent-to-own occupant. The town is out to bid for real-estate agents to conduct sales of tax-acquired properties, and staff said they had exhausted available administrative options to resolve payment.
