The Waterville City Council unanimously approved Resolution 2025R-027 on Sept. 11, 2025, a measure the city attorney described as the purchase agreement needed to advance the Village property acquisition toward closing. "This is the actual purchase agreement to advance to closing," City Attorney Jason Moran said during discussion.
Scott Potter moved to adopt the resolution and Dave Wollin seconded; the motion carried 4-0. Council members noted related topics to be resolved outside the formal vote, including repair estimates and rental costs for use of the property.
