During its July 23 special meeting, the Calallen ISD Board delegated authority to the Acting Superintendent/Superintendent to hire the top-ranked candidate from the selection committee for the Wood River Elementary principal position and asked administration to report the final selection at the next board meeting. The motion, made by Lori Jo Walker and seconded by Royce Cameron, passed 7-0.
The board also noted that the remainder of the Personnel List dated July 23, 2026, was provided for informational purposes only. No additional personnel actions were taken at the meeting; the board adjourned at 6:30 p.m.
