Assistant Superintendent Kelsey Ramos presented the district's third budget update for the 2026-27 fiscal year on July 13. Following the presentation, the board voted to approve Option C for employee compensation.
Under Option C the board approved a 1% pay increase for teachers and a 1.5% increase for non-teacher positions. The minutes state those raises are calculated based on midpoint of the designated pay plans; campus and department budget cuts will partially offset the increases and the remainder will come from planned use of fund balance. Trustees also reserved the right to adjust compensation in response to legislative changes or additional school funding.
The motion to adopt Option C was made by Chelsea Schulze and seconded by Lori Jo Walker; the vote was 7-0.
