The Los Lunas Village Council voted unanimously on June 25 to approve a restaurant beer-and-wine liquor license for Teofilo’s Restaurante, submitted by Trios J, LLC as part of a transfer of ownership within the Torres family.
Community Development Director Alex Ochoa said the request would not change the use of the license. Applicant representative Jonna Torres explained the ownership transfer and stated "no operational changes were proposed." Staff confirmed public-notice requirements (publication in the Valencia County News-Bulletin and certified mail to surrounding owners) were met and reported no public comments in favor or opposition. The motion to approve carried 4–0.
