Board to compare LESA scoring with other counties after local test rankings

Staff reported the exercise and the board decided it wanted to compare its scoring outcomes with those of other counties before considering changes to the county scorecard.
Members said cross-county comparison would help determine whether local adjustments to LESA are warranted; no formal change to the county LESA system was proposed or voted on at the meeting. Staff will follow up by collecting comparative scoring from peer counties and returning with recommendations at a future meeting.
