Council approves bills, petty cash, licenses and appoints election judges

The council approved the 2nd-quarter petty cash report and a temporary liquor license for the Lions Club for the Platte River Day event on July 25, 2026.
Hofstad summarized Resolution 7-7-26-2 (Funds Reimbursement) regarding potential payment for the water tower out of the general fund; council tabled that resolution pending a bill from contractor O&A. Later, the council adopted Resolution 7-7-26-3 appointing election judges and setting pay rates (head judge $20/hour; regular judges $15/hour). The meeting adjourned at 7:55 p.m.
