Superintendent Larson outlines open houses, calendars and enrollment gains ahead of Aug. 26 start

Larson said, "We will be holding an open house on Monday, August 17 from about 4 to 6PM," for Berkman Valley Elementary and described final cleanup at Brandon Valley Middle School. He noted bus routes are affected by ongoing road work and asked for patience. Larson reported the district is "up 105 students" in overall enrollment and reminded families that the free and reduced meal application is available through Skyward and should be updated by early September. He also confirmed the first day of school for grades 1–12 is Aug. 26 and early childhood starts Aug. 31.
