The Brandon Valley School District board approved the bills and financial report after finance lead Lundberg walked directors through July figures and fund balances.
Lundberg said the district began the month with $27,400,000, recorded receipts of $4,100,000 and had $9,400,000 of disbursements, leaving $22,100,000 at the end of July. He broke out fund balances: general fund $12,666,000; capital outlay $4,371,000; special education $1,657,000; bond redemption $258,000; enterprise $42,000; and capital projects $3,100,000. Lundberg also called out a list of bills "—so the $3,173,447 is there for your review" and noted payroll for July was $2,252,000. The board approved the bills and claims and then approved the financial report by voice vote.
