Commission approves multiple plans and releases staff comments for municipal review

The Butler County Planning Commission recorded several formal actions on March 18. Commissioners voted to accept the February 18 minutes, conditionally approved the Pullman Recreation Complex plan pending City of Butler review or a deferral letter, approved Iron Mountain #26061 conditioned on comments being met, approved Giesler #26067 (four lot revisions), and tabled Trust Musko #26051 pending municipal and utility approvals. The commission also voted to release staff comments on both major and minor plans for municipal review.
Motions were made and seconded primarily by Barb Sutton and Tom Kamerer throughout the meeting. The minutes do not contain roll-call vote tallies; each motion is recorded as passed. The commission adjourned at 5:15 p.m. and scheduled its next meeting for May 20, 2026 at 4:30 p.m.
