Patricia Baker said REACH will offer more than 22 workshops tailored to city employees, ranging from public speaking to strategic media skills. Baker named internal instructors such as Eric Chilton and outside partners including United Way and area colleges—Elon University, UNCG, North Carolina A&T, Guilford College and Guilford Technical Community College.
Baker singled out a grant-writing workshop led by Dr. Williams and said, "Doctor Williams has, is phenomenal and has just written and received a $4,000,000 grant to get into that workshop." She also described offerings such as a resume "remix," tuition-assistance oversight, and a quiet room for attendees who need a break. The program now includes both morning and afternoon sessions to accommodate different schedules.
