City attorney Paige Benda told the Milnor City Council on July 13 that junk-car letters were mailed July 1 and that recipients have 30 days to remove vehicles or present a compliance plan before the city takes next steps.
The council subsequently approved building permits for Lynn & Michelle Odegard (window replacements), Bret Nunn (deck replacement), Alexis Nadler (new siding & windows) and Cassidy Erickson (new siding & windows). The motion to approve permits was moved by Curtis Anderson and seconded by Jodi Ost; the minutes record Michelle Odegard as abstaining from the vote.
No appeals, timelines for removal, or enforcement dates are recorded beyond the 30-day compliance window noted by the attorney.
