Milnor council approves committee and board portfolio assignments

At the July 13 organizational meeting the council approved a set of portfolio and committee appointments that assign council members and residents to city boards and advisory bodies. Notable assignments recorded in the minutes include Airport Authority (Jodi Ost); Animal Control (Curtis Anderson and Michelle Odegard); Finance (Mayor Glen Koeppe and Jodi Ost); Housing Authority (Denise Ferderer, Jodi Ost and Alan Boyer); and Planning & Design (Jodi Ost and Alan Boyer).
The motion to approve the Council Portfolio was moved by Curtis Anderson, seconded by Jodi Ost, and recorded as unanimous. The minutes list additional appointments to boards such as the Library Board/Milnor Area Community Center, Park Board, Sewer/Streets/Water, and several authorities and committees; no vacancies or contested appointments were noted.
