The Dallas County Conservation Board approved an Adopt-a-Trail application from Coda Skeffington-Vos to adopt the Raccoon River Valley Trail segment between Grand Avenue in Perry and the City of Dawson. The adoption period is June 23, 2025, through June 23, 2030, and includes litter removal twice annually, per the application presented by Director Curt Cable.
Rebecca Hillmer moved and Dave Kraayenbrink seconded approval of the application; all members present voted "aye," and the motion carried. The Board expressed support for the importance of maintaining adopted trail segments and authorized the Chair and Director to sign the agreement.
