At the May 18 meeting the Omak City Council unanimously adopted Ordinance No. 1965, a 2026 budget amendment covering various city funds. Member Steve Clark moved to adopt the ordinance; Member Nattalie Cariker seconded and the motion passed with no public comment.
City Administrator Todd McDaniel told the Council the May 4 first reading had been a draft and Clerk Connie Thomas reviewed the ordinance for administrative adjustments. McDaniel said "the math was incorrect on the spreadsheet which then increased the ending fund balance so, the correction was made." The correction affected Water Fund 401 and the ordinance adopted the corrected figures. The transcript records a unanimous vote; the minutes do not list a member‑by‑member roll call tally.
