Kay County approves transfers, pipeline crossings and lists purchase orders; payroll and claims approved

The Board approved a transfer of appropriations moving $167,086.87 from Hwy. Dist. #2 FEMA to Maintenance & Operations. Commissioners also approved public service/pipeline crossing line installations for the Tonkawa Tribe of Indians of Oklahoma and Kay Electric Cooperative at specified legal land descriptions and district assignments.
The clerk presented an extensive list of FY 2025–2026 and FY 2026–2027 purchase orders and claims (vendors and amounts were read into the record). A motion to approve Payroll Verifications for July 2026, Maintenance and Operation Claims, and Blanket Purchase Orders carried; the minutes note records are available in the County Clerk’s Office for public review.
The board recorded there was no qualifying new business under 1991 O.S. 25§311.A.9 and adjourned at 10:05 a.m.
