Marshall's office gets approval to outfit emergency vehicles; contract increase of $302,400 approved

Marshall Anthony Vasquez told the committee the request covers outfitting emergency-response vehicles the office received this past year; the proposal requests funds to add lights and equipment to 10 vehicles and seeks a contract increase not to exceed $302,400.34.
"So, technically, we received 11. On the proposal, we are outfitting 10," Vasquez said, explaining one vehicle had already been outfitted and the change order would cover the remaining units. Commissioners asked for confirmation on vehicle counts and moved to approve the change order. The committee approved the motion by voice vote and the Chair announced the motion carries.
Staff will complete purchase orders and schedule vehicle upfitting work under the amended contract.
