Southlake recreation opens league registration and part-time positions; youth council applications available

Maris Porter, presenter for Southlake City, said the recreation department opened registration for several adult leagues and is recruiting part-time staff. "Our recreation department says the registration is open for adult coed kickball, adult ultimate Frisbee. You must register as a team by July 17. Pickleball league registration closes July 20," she said.
Porter added that fall men’s and women’s basketball registration is open and encouraged interested applicants to visit the city website to apply for part-time recreation jobs. She also promoted applications to the youth city council for students entering ninth through eleventh grade and encouraged teens to contact the city with questions.
