Staff recommended accepting a proposal from Inflatable Images for a custom bleacher wrap at Pat Catan Stadium with a total cost not to exceed $69,362, to be paid through donated funds and sponsorship agreements.
"The bleacher wrap is an enclosure...it'll have a bunch of Mustang branding on it," Jason Kepler explained, describing the steel framing that keeps the wrap taut and the plan to leave a center stairwell accessible while fencing the lower portion for storage and crowd management. Steve and other staff noted the product had the best quote and would remain installed year‑round; the boosters will reimburse the district for an upgraded feature on the package.
Board members asked about lifespan (staff estimated roughly 12–15 years) and access; the motion to accept the proposal was moved and carried on roll call. The item was presented as a donation‑funded enhancement and will be implemented this summer.
