Board reappoints Commissioner Threadgill to behavioral health board and appoints Deputy Chief Meeks to EMS council

County Clerk Allyson Stephens informed the Board that Commissioner Bryan Threadgill had been serving as Meriwether County27s representative on the Region Six Department of Behavioral Health & Developmental Disabilities board and was willing to continue serving. Commissioner Adam Worsley moved and Vice Chairman Jennifer Snelson seconded Threadgill27s reappointment to a three-year term ending June 30, 2029; the motion passed unanimously.
Clerk Stephens also advised that, with Deputy Chief Christie Grice27s departure from full-time county employment, Fire Chief Stephens recommended Deputy Chief Andrew Meeks to fill Position 2 on the Region Four EMS Council for the unexpired term ending June 30, 2027. Vice Chairman Snelson moved to appoint Deputy Chief Meeks; Commissioner Worsley seconded and the motion passed unanimously.
Both appointments were approved by unanimous vote of those present; Clerk Stephens recorded the recommendations and will notify the respective regional boards.
