Advisory board prioritizes Comp Plan strategies, urges preliminary work on aquatics and Keister Park access

"It would be good to get something put on paper regarding an aquatics facility," Travis Cooper said, urging documentation to advance planning.
On Goal 10.2 the board selected Strategies 4, 7 and 11 as priorities: opening Keister Park for public use, encouraging towns to coordinate under one Authority, and creating a development plan for Wagner Park (the latter to be discussed after the Wagner Park jury trial). Jered said the department asked the Advisory Board for $50,000 to hire an engineer to study a possible road into Keister Park and suggested a letter of support from Holly Rusher to aid future budget planning.
