Accelerate Augusta outlines no-cost services and workshops to help downtown businesses adapt

Andrews said Accelerate Augusta opened in early October of the prior year and provides one-on-one consultations, programming on AI, marketing and technology, federal-contracting accelerators, and a youth entrepreneur program called YEP. He said the organization surveyed about 200 Broad Street businesses and currently offers free programming (a nominal instructor fee of up to $20 would be charged only in some cases). "There are no cost now... If we do have a cost, it'll be no more than $20," Andrews said. He described partnerships with Augusta Tech, the Downtown Development Authority and other local organizations and invited business owners to use the center at 600 Broad Street for technical assistance and planning.
Commissioners and staff affirmed the value of the incubator and said they would work to connect business owners to Accelerate Augusta programming and other resources.
