Mayor Joyce responded that she had read the press release and would review pertinent materials, meet with Police Chief Greg Smith and then contact Ms. Reynolds to set a meeting. Police Chief Greg Smith told the board he and the department do not have negative statements about Ms. Reynolds and expressed willingness to work with her going forward. Reynolds’ request for a public correction and for confirmation whether body-camera footage exists were noted for follow-up; the minutes do not record whether any press-correction action was taken that night.
