Alzheimer's Association and Bluffton Library offer 'Empowered Caregiver' education series today

The South Carolina chapter of the Alzheimer's Association and the Bluffton Branch Library are offering an "Empowered Caregiver" education session today from 11 a.m. to noon at Bluffton Library, 120 Palmetto Way, the county bulletin said.
The series is designed to teach caregivers how to navigate responsibilities for someone living with dementia. Caregivers can register for individual courses or complete the whole series; the program returns on Sept. 8 and further dates are available on the library's events calendar, the notice said.
The bulletin listed the library as the local venue and credited the Alzheimer's Association chapter as the program sponsor. The announcement was read by Matt Goldman of BCTV.
