On March 26 the board voted twice to enter executive session. Early in the meeting the chair asked for and the board approved a motion to discuss potential acquisition, sale or lease of real property or exchange of securities where publicity could affect value (item 6a). The board left executive session and resumed open meeting business.
Near the end of the public meeting the chair again moved the board into executive session, this time citing "to discuss the medical, financial or employment history of a particular person or persons." The chair said no public action would be taken after that executive session and described it as expected to be lengthy.
Both executive-session motions were moved, seconded and approved by voice vote in the public transcript. By statute and common practice, any final personnel or real-estate decisions taken in executive session will be reflected in subsequent public minutes or formal resolutions.
