KPPA staff told the ad hoc regulations committee Sept. 16 that 105 KAR 1150, covering installment purchase procedures for service credit, has been updated primarily to comply with administrative codes and that staff will implement it as written.
Nathan explained the rule governs members' use of payroll withdrawals and other installment mechanisms to purchase service credit. "This regulation governs the procedure for that, updates it," he said. Committee members moved, seconded and adopted forwarding the regulation to the full KPPA board for approval.
The committee's action is part of the statutory seven‑year review cycle for administrative rules; staff characterized the changes as largely technical.
