At its Feb. 13 meeting, the Canton Township Board of Supervisors approved an agreement with V-Bat to complete an MS4 stream restoration project on property located on Weirich Avenue. The motion was made by Mr. Richard Horner, seconded by Chairman Butch Main, and recorded as carried (Main — yes; Bodnovich — absent; Horner — yes).
Harshman CE Group's engineering notes appended to the meeting record state that the Logpile Run / Weirich Avenue restoration is "awaiting execution of the legal agreement with the landowner to begin." The engineer also reminded the board that annual MS4 training will need scheduling as part of permit compliance activities.
The motion authorizes the township to proceed with the contractual agreement but engineering documentation indicates that on-the-ground work will not start until the legal agreement is executed by the property owner.
