MacArthur Park Neighborhood Council approves series of routine office and outreach expenses

The MacArthur Park Neighborhood Council approved a package of routine administrative and outreach-related expenditures on Sept. 25. Motions carried to approve up to $1,000 for name badges and business cards; up to $200 per month ($1,800) for meeting snacks and refreshments; up to $150 per month ($1,200) for paper copies; and up to $400 for a USPS mailbox for 12 months at FOY Post Office (1808 W. 7th St.).
Each motion was moved by President Andrew Wolff and seconded by various board members including Grace Bryant and Mireya Valencia; recorded votes for these items were Ayes 8, Nays 0, Abstentions 0, Absent 5. The board also authorized up to three board members to access the inventory storage unit and to access the P.O. box; that motion likewise carried. These actions were recorded under agenda section VII and are standard operational steps intended to support MPNC outreach, logistics and meeting operations.
