City staff: urgent care opening at former Clifton Stereo site; Orchard Commons progressing

Mr. Moore told the council the most recent development starting now is an urgent care site at the former Clifton Stereo location, and that work on Orchard Commons continues to move forward. He also reminded the council and public that a special Republican primary was taking place that day (polls open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.) and noted a joint dinner meeting with the Darlington County School Board on Aug. 31.
Mr. Moore encouraged residents to vote in the special election and said residents should already have received the city's development update packet. The council accepted the report and proceeded to the remainder of its agenda.
