MPNC tables multiple funding items including missing-receipts affidavit and NPG reapproval

The MacArthur Park Neighborhood Council listed several funding items on the Sept. 4, 2024 agenda and discussed them but did not take votes because a quorum was not present. Items explicitly listed and tabled included a City Clerk Missing Receipt Affidavit covering two receipts totaling $1,310.72; an amended 2024–2025 administrative budget packet showing accruals of $32,239.94, a rollover of $14,311.06 and a total of $46,551.00 (with up to $6,000 of rollover funds proposed for outreach); and re-approval of a $3,000 Neighborhood Purpose Grant (NPG) for the MacArthur Park Community Center via the Los Angeles Parks Foundation.

Other administrative expenditures and outreach items were also tabled: up to $1,000 for outreach to support the Los Angeles Congress of Neighborhoods event on Sept. 28, 2024; up to $1,000 for name badges and business cards; up to $200 per month ($1,800) for meeting snacks; up to $150 per month ($1,200) for paper copies; up to $400 per year for a USPS mailbox; authorization for three board members to access inventory storage and a PO box; up to $2,000 for a cleanup event on Nov. 19, 2024; and up to $3,000 for printing up to 150 outreach T-shirts. All were tabled pending a meeting with a quorum.
