The subcommittee reviewed two new job descriptions and voted to post an executive confidential assistant position to support the deputy superintendent and chief financial officer, subject to the full committee’s approval on Aug. 19. The administration described the role as a high-level confidential position that will handle negotiation support, payroll oversight, FOIA requests and data pulls from Munis.
The chair moved an amendment to set a salary posting range and said, “So I'd like to amend the motion to have a salary from 60 to 73,500.” Members approved posting the position and asked the administration to produce an updated organizational chart and a plan explaining how existing clerical and executive-assistant positions would be restructured if the hire is made.
