Milford Harrison, president of the Water District board, and Heather Dyer, the district's general manager, commended city staff for work on water-use-efficiency programs and described the district's demand management program that supports local retail agencies. "We are here to present a giant check, just over $28,000 to the city of Loma Linda," a district official said as the council welcomed the delegation for a photograph and brief remarks.
