Staff presented the ordinances and confirmed there were no public comments in favor or opposition during the hearing. The clerk read titles and council waived full readings before the motion to adopt carried. "An ordinance of the city council of the city of Loma Linda adding chapter 5.26, which is short term rentals to title 5 ... to establish regulations governing the operations of short term rentals within the city of Loma Linda," the clerk read as the council moved to adopt. The three ordinances (O-2026-09, O-2026-10, O-2026-11) were adopted by motion.
