Sheriff's office announces promotions, service milestones and retirees

The undersheriff noted Lieutenant Jess Foster started with the Sheriff's Office on 2006-05-22, was promoted to corporal in May 2014, to sergeant in July 2023 and to lieutenant in November 2025. "He currently supervises 2nd shift patrol," the speaker said.
The office also recognized deputies and civilian staff for long service and named retirees Captain Tom Bridal (career beginning 1995-11-27; retired 2026-06-26) and Corporal John Burkhart (career beginning 1997; retired 2026-07-31).
