Columbus Water & Power: 1,400 customers without power; I-71 to close for transmission-pole repairs

Atha provided phone numbers for residents: the sewer maintenance hotline at (614) 645-7102 and the Division of Power 24/7 outage hotline at (614) 645-6174. Later in the briefing she said the Division of Power, Division of Police and ODOT were coordinating to shut down I-71 south of Greenlawn (between Greenlawn and Route 104) to remove leaning transmission poles and electrical lines.
