Council adopts housekeeping ordinances updating permit and subdivision fees
Summary
The council approved two companion ordinances (234-111825 and 234-111825b) to amend the fee schedule in Appendix A of the code of ordinances, updating building-permit and subdivision-plan-review fees to align with AOCA's fee structure and to eliminate conflicting fees.

Council considered two related ordinances to update the city's fee schedule and clarify where fees are located in the code. Staff and council explained that earlier language had been confusing and that fees needed to be split between subdivision and permitting sections for clarity.
Georgina and other council members said the changes reflect AOCA fees; one council member said, “these fees reflect the new AOCA fees,” noting that some fees rise while others decrease and that several fees previously did not exist. Council voted to adopt both ordinances as housekeeping measures to align city code with current inspection-provider charges.
