Concord Housing Development Corporation reports construction progress at Aspeth River Homes, first unit nearing closing

Julie McClure, chair of the Concord Housing Development Corporation, gave an update on Aspeth River Homes construction. She said volunteers and licensed contractors are finishing interior work, the first unit is being painted, and electrical and plumbing work is underway. "We expect to finalize a closing there soon over the next few weeks," she said.
McClure added that an occupancy permit had not been issued at the time of her visit because the project still needs drainage work and driveway paving. She said CHDC is exploring how Junction Village might fit into the broader MCI redevelopment with consultants and the town, with an emphasis on affordable and subsidized housing opportunities.
