Working group considers outside facilitators; two conflict-management experts expressed interest

A committee member reported contacting three outside professionals with expertise in conflict management and school climate work: Dr. Donna Hicks, Dr. Carlos Hoyt, and Jim Tull. "I've reached out and contacted all 3," the member said, adding that two responded positively and one declined.

Members discussed whether the facilitator work should be provided first to the working group for training and facilitation and separately to the full school committee for relationship-building. One member suggested considering Dr. Darnissa Monte Jackson because she already works with the district on social-emotional learning; the group agreed to circulate CVs and bios and to review candidates offline before bringing recommendations to the full committee.
