The board authorized a second advertisement for bids on a planned recycling structure after no bids were returned during the initial solicitation. The motion to re-advertise the project was made by Supervisor Steve Winterstein, seconded by Supervisor Benjamin Hornberger, and passed 5-0.
Also on the consent of the board, Supervisor Susan Kensinger moved and Supervisor George Bell seconded a motion to name a street along Grandview Road 'Deer Valley Lane' at the request of resident Richard Himes; the motion passed unanimously. The board made both decisions during its new-business procurement agenda.
