"My name is Maria Semenam. I'm the race director for Team Foot Works, and we are putting on the Twilight 5K... We're going on over 30 years of putting on this event," the organizer told the commission, describing course changes intended to concentrate festivities at a single start/finish spot and expressing hope for more than 500 participants. The commission moved and adopted the resolution after a brief presentation and a roll-call vote.
Clerk recorded a unanimous roll-call vote. The city encouraged residents to register at twilight5k.com before early-registration pricing expires.
