City staff outline plan to meet digital‑accessibility deadline; commissioners request completion metrics

Commissioners pressed staff for concrete metrics. Several asked how many staff members have completed required modules and how vendor‑hosted content and department microsites will be audited. Grier said web‑team audits are under way, that the city has a central resource site (Nexus) for accessibility materials, and that she would ask Human Resources for baseline completion figures to report back to the commission.
Next steps: staff will provide a clearer compliance roadmap and departmental training completion rates at a future meeting, and will share vendor contract language that addresses third‑party site accessibility.
