Director Carol Craig requested the funding to cover payroll, general operating expenses and service delivery for the period of June 1, 2026, through May 31, 2027.
Board members voted to approve the appropriation after staff presented the request; the motion was made by Steve Marshall and seconded by Jonathan Wood. The approved appropriation will be included in the county's FY2026–27 budget and implemented by the Department of Social Services.
