Public Health seeks up to $100,000 to purchase non-influenza vaccines; COVID shots omitted this year

Commissioners requested a full list of vaccines and asked whether the county retains any COVID doses; Pleasants said the department administered several COVID doses last year under a grant but does not expect to include COVID in this year's purchasing plan. A commissioner asked staff to examine options to support uninsured residents who may have trouble affording COVID shots if needed.
