The motion approved limits the county's contribution to "up to $250,000" toward the total project cost under the interlocal agreement.
Commissioners discussed resident proximity to the landfill and long-term maintenance options; the board passed the resolution after a motion and second without recorded roll-call votes. Chair (speaker 1) acknowledged Washington City’s share and emphasized coordinated planning to avoid repeated one-time requests in the future.
The agreement sets a short-term funding path for immediate pavement preservation and base repairs; staff will return to the board with implementation details and any required interagency procurement actions.
