The Chair opened the Board of Works and Safety meeting and moved to approve the minutes "as presented," a motion that was seconded and approved by voice vote. The board then considered claims that had been distributed to members and, after no questions were raised, approved them "as presented."
The actions took place at the start of the Aug. 10 meeting and set the agenda for subsequent items including sewer adjustments, a downtown loading-zone request and a tort/insurance notice later in the session. "Motion made and seconded to approve the minutes as presented," the Chair said during the roll call and approvals.
