"So if we do that, we want to also go 2 weeks before roughly 2 weeks before October 2 to, right, because we've got the community set up for October 2... September 24," the Chair said while organizing teams to cover spread-out neighborhoods.
Committee members emphasized tailoring outreach to each small neighborhood, noting differences in housing density and needs; the group drove routes to count units and decided some areas require separate approaches. Volunteers agreed to form small teams, use maps prepared by committee members and coordinate logistics so residents receive targeted preparedness information rather than a single, unified presentation.
