The Cleveland County Board of County Commissioners on Nov. 24 approved a commercial lease between Lawyer's Professional Building LLC and County Clerk Pam Howlett and Court Clerk Marilyn Williams for office space at 231 South Peters in Norman. The lease term begins Dec. 1, 2025, and ends Nov. 30, 2026, at $4,000 per month; the lessees are responsible for insurance on personal property and all utilities.
The lease was included on the consent docket and carried as part of the board's unanimous approval of the consent items. Chairman Jacob McHughes opened the consent docket, and the board approved it as amended (Clerk's Note: corrections reported to items 2b and 13r).
