During its Nov. 12 meeting the Fort Meade City Commission approved multiple administrative resolutions intended to support operations and capital planning.
The commission unanimously approved Resolution R2024-84 to revise a lobbying services agreement and R2024-85 to enter into an agreement with MuniCreative Inc. for website services following an overview from the COO/HR Director (listed in the minutes as Hariston). Commissioners also approved Resolution R2024-86 to issue RFP 2024-03 for independent audit services.
Fire Chief Matthew Zahara presented Resolution R2024-87 accepting an appropriation award for fire department safety equipment; the commission approved acceptance of the award unanimously. City Manager Edward Dean presented Resolution R2024-89 authorizing an electric system feasibility study to examine the condition and options for the city's electric system; that resolution also passed unanimously. The commission approved Resolution R2024-90 (Engineering Services Agreement amendment for SRF Wastewater System Improvements, Phase I) by unanimous vote as well.
These actions were recorded as unanimous votes; the Nov. 12 minutes record the approvals but do not include contract dollar amounts, RFP specifications, or the appropriation award amount—those items will be handled through the corresponding procurement and contract documents.
