Shoreham raises lifeguard pay, schedules tennis reconditioning and OKs $10,000 for railing repairs

Separately, Mayor Spier noted the Finance Committee recommended allocating $10,000 for emergency railing repairs; trustees approved spending of up to $10,000 for those repairs (Spier/McManus, 4-0). Trustee Coogan also reported that tennis court reconditioning is expected by mid-May and that the contractor agreed to install new tape lines at the agreed price. Mayor Spier additionally notified the board that the Capital Improvement Committee will have John Gursky outline initial expenditures estimated to be up to $40,000 at its next meeting.
