Several board members asked staff to restore the periodic road-condition report that ranks and scores local streets for budgeting and PACE program purposes.
Chair Chuck Porter noted the board has not seen the list in a couple of years and asked staff to bring it back as part of planning. A staff member said the city performs a condition review every other year for PACE and that the next formal PACE review is scheduled for 2027. Board members discussed whether current funding levels are keeping up with needs and asked that the report include replacement frequency assumptions and the recommended yearly spending level so council can weigh adjustments in future budgets.
No formal motion was taken; the item was scheduled for a future meeting with direction to staff to prepare the report and supporting budget-analysis materials.
